Dust with a microfibre cloth and use warm soapy water for spills or anything stuck on. Clean up stains straight away, before they soak in, and don't let the cloth get too wet – moisture can damage the finish. Use coasters for glasses and mugs, don't overfill drawers, and lift rather than drag the furniture to protect the fixings and your floor.
