For years, if you slept on a LOFT bed or sank into a LOFT sofa, it probably came with the keys. LOFT Living is the first time we've opened the doors to everyone else.

LOFT started in Manchester, and we're still here, based in Trafford Park. Our job has always been the same: get good furniture into homes, on time, properly put together, and built to cope with real life.
Mostly, those homes have been rentals. Student rooms, shared houses, flats, and entire new apartment buildings. That means our furniture gets used hard, moved often and judged by people who didn't choose it. It's a tough crowd. It's also made us very good at what we do.
where it started
LOFT began in Manchester with a simple idea: landlords needed furniture that turned up when it was meant to, went in properly and lasted longer than the first tenancy.
Growing with the rental market
Word got round. We started furnishing student accommodation, shared houses and private rentals across the country, learning quickly what survives everyday life and what doesn't.
Whole buildings, not just rooms
As build to rent and co-living took off, so did we. We began designing and furnishing entire buildings, from the first floor plan to the last cushion in the residents' lounge.
Three teams, one LOFT
Today we work in three ways: bespoke interior design, ready-to-go furniture for landlords who need it fast, and large-scale projects that furnish hundreds of homes at once. Different jobs, same standards.

People kept asking where they could buy the sofa from their flat, or the bed from their student room. Fair question. LOFT Living is our answer: the furniture we know works, available for your own home.

Made to be used
We started out in 2003 furnishing student accomodation and rental properties. We pride ourselves on creating well made, comfortable products that are designed to be used, not just look good. We hold ourselves to a high standard and you should too.
Pieces that go together
We work with interior designers, product specialists, so we know our slipper chairs from our cocktail chairs. Our ranges are designed to sit together, side by side. Pick a sofa, a bed or a table and the rest will follow nicely.

We know that sometimes things go wrong, so we have a team of experts that are here to ensure issues are corrected with as minimal disruption as possible. We've spent years ensuring our customers come first, and it's our promise to you too.
