Vacuum regularly with a low-powered brush attachment to remove dust. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth – don't rub, as this can spread the stain. For dried-in stains, ask a specialist upholstery cleaner. Keep it out of direct sunlight to prevent fading, and check and tighten the screws now and then.
